The meaning behind this is mostly about gratitude for the powers surrounding us in nature. Grandmother Moon and Grandfather Sun are spirits that are available to help guide and nourish us. Our shadow comes and goes, inherent in this human embodiment, but the oneness and connectedness of all pervades and transcends the dualistic nature of our experience. Our disconnect from nature can hinder this awareness, and create disharmony in our lives, but the unconditional love is ever present and patiently waits for our return home. <3
